The Minnesota Geospatial Advisory Council's Emergency Preparedness Committee is comprised of volunteers from the Emergency Services Sector (ESS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) community who are working to improve and leverage use of geospatial technologies for emergency and disaster response.  Members are employed by federal, state, county, local, tribal, educational, nonprofit and corporate entities.

  • The EPC normally meets: 2:00-4:30 pm, second Thursday, of the last month of each quarter.
  • Visitors and guests are ALWAYS welcome!
  • Feel free to attend the entire meeting or just stop by for any presentation of personal interest.
  • Plenty of free parking (when held in person)
  • From time to time, the EPC also arranges training events designed to bring together the ESS and GIS communities.
  • Send an email to chair@mgacepc.org if you would like to receive emails announcing upcoming meetings.
